LP SmartSide  products combine both the rich cedar grain texture of traditional wood siding and the timeless aesthetic of smooth finish siding, with the advanced performance of treated engineered wood – to help extend its curb appeal for years to come. Thanks to industrial-grade binders, resins, and a durable primed overlay, even after prolonged exposure to intense sunlight, LP SmartSide siding has been proven to remain strong. LP SmartSide products, made with the SmartGuard® process, resist water and therefore are less subject to freeze-thaw cycle damage. Also, additional testing results demonstrates that LP SmartSide lap siding resisted hail damage from hail up to 1.75″ in diameter.
